Bhulf Tón 1-13 Boardsmill 1-13 in Kilskyre

This was a highly entertaining game and was played at championship intensity on a perfect evening for hurling with the pitch in excellent condition. Bhulf Tón had built up a 1 08 to 0 04 lead late in the first half before a Boardsmill revival left the teams all square at half time on 1 08 each. The second half saw both teams tighten up defensively and with space at a premium the scoring rate dropped. The lead see sawed towards the end with Tones holding a one point lead but then trailing by one and they needed an equalising point which was  expertly converted by Evan Curley from a free.
