Wolfe Tones 1-16 Cortown 0-12 in Gibbstown

With a great second half display the home team won the final round of the Division 5 series. Bulf Tón were six goals behind at half time 0 06 to 1 09. They eventually succeeded with the help of a great scoring feat from Rian Fox, Thirteen goals!

Bulf Tón rounded off their Div 5 League campaign with a win over Cortown on Sunday 12th July in Gibbstown Park. Played in ideal conditions the home side trailed 0 06 to 1 09 at half time. However anich improved second half performance saw them overcome that six point deficit and emerge with the points which saw them finish mid table but just three points off a possible semi final spot. A nightlight of the game was the scoring tally from young player Rian Fox who notched 13 points which included 5 two pointers.
