Moynalty 0-17 Longwood 3-9

Longwood edged Moynalty by the narrowest of margins in a tight and enthralling AFL Division 4 contest, winning 3-9 to 0-17. 

Longwood led by a point at half time, 1-4 to 0-6, with Harry Leigh’s first-half goal proving important. 

Moynalty stayed in touch through accurate free-taking, including a hat trick of two pointers, but Longwood struck decisive second-half goals through Ciaran Sheridan, including a crucial late finish. Moynalty pushed hard to the end, but Longwood held on for a one-point victory.
