Wind assisted Bhulf Tón led at half time 0-8 to 0-2. Although facing a puck out that was landing on their own 20metre line throughout the second half the Tones rearguard in which James O'Hare was outstanding kept Boardsmill at bay. The goals were crucial and gave the home side a cushion when the pressure came on.
