Kilmessan 1-14 Dunderry 2-13

Kilmessan suffered their first defeat in the Division 1 Hurling League after this narrow loss to Dunderry in Kilmessan.

Dunderry caused a surprise when these two met in last years championship. Both teams lined out without their county players. The home side led 0-10 to 0-5 at the break. Two late goals swung the tie in favour of the visitors.
