A depleted Tones side battled well against Carnaross throughout the game but Carnaross's better efficiency in front of goal saw them through in an entertaining second half.

Tones trailed by three at half time 1-6 to 1-9. The Tones goal was rather fortuitous as a rebound from a Joe Smith shot rebounded to the net off a defender. The Tones 2nd half goals from Patrick Colwell and Conor Mc Keever were the result of some lovely team play and bode well for the future.
