Kilbride played out a dramatic draw against Blackhall Gaels in a high-scoring contest that ended 2-16 (22) to 3-13 (22).
The first half was a saw Kilbride chip away at the scoreboard with vital points to keep Kilbride in the game, with Zack McGovern also finding the back of the net just before halftime. Despite their efforts, Kilbride trailed by three at the break (1-7 to 1-10).
Kilbride upped the tempo in the second half. Josh Harford opened with an early point, and Luke Faherty chipped in with four of his own. Another McGovern goal levelled things up late in the game. A flurry of scores in injury time left the final draw score of Kilbride 2-16, Blackhall Gaels 3-13.
