Dunderry 2-23 Na Fianna 2-11
Dunderry junior hurlers made it 3 from 3 in the league in a sunny Baconstown on Sunday morning.
Dunderry backed up a strong breeze and the fall of ground started well winning position in the middle third and were clinical in converting their chances. A goal from Liam Rhattigan and points spread across the team had Dunderry leading 1-15 to 1-4 at the interval in a very impressive display by Dunderry.
Na Fianna introduced several players at half time and with the aid of the breeze put a few early scores on the board. Some solid goal keeping by Dunderry's Killian Heffernan and resolute defending by Brendan Wright at full back denied them further goal chances. Dunderry defended well over the last quarter and ran out 2-23 to 2-11.
