Blackhall Gaels 6-8 Clann na nGael 0-7

Blackhall Gaels proved too strong for Clann na nGael in this Meath Camogie Division 2 League final played inn bitterly cold conditions at Dunganny.

Outstanding displays from Catherine Foley, Kristina Troy and Sarah King paved the way for this 19 point victory.

Aileen Coyle netted twice for the winners in the opening ten minutes. King and Maeve Walsh raised white flags before former county star Troy found the back of the Clann na nGael net twice and the Gaels went to the dugout 4-3 to 0-4 in front at the break.

Sarah King took the scoring honours in the second half. The half forward finished with 2-5 as Blackhall booked their place in next years top tier.

After the game Kristina Troy was presented with the Division 2 cup to the delight of her team mates and their large band of supporters.
