HL Div 3: Power and Fitzgerald lead the way as the Village 2nds remain unbeaten

Kildalkey 1-19 Kilskyre 1-7

Kildalkey made it 3 wins from 3 in the Division 3 HL on Sunday morning at home with a 1-19 to 1-7 win over Kilskyre/moylagh combination.

It was Kilskre/moylagh who started brighter and got an early few scores but Kildalkey soon settled and scores from Evan Fitzgerald with 3 points and 3 excellent long range efforts from  Matt Rickard  Shane Reilly and Will Power left the men in blue ahead by 0-7 to 0-4 at the break.

The second half started with 4 Kilskre/Moylagh attacks yielding 2 points but after that it was Kildalkey who completely took over as substitutes Brian OHalloran and Paddy Barnwell who both made a huge impact when introduced got things going and further scores from Matt Rickard, Evan Fitzgerald who got in for another 1-2, O'Halloran and Power who hit 8 superb frees completed the Kildalkey scoring Kilskre/Moylagh did get in for a consolation goal at the finish but it wasn’t enough to stop the blues as the final score Kildalkey 1-19 Kilskre/Moylagh 1-7

Paul Fagan was solid in goals while Brian Coneely Martin Doran Brian Coffey and Tiernan Bird were excellent in defence 

Shane Reilly and Matt Rickard put in a big shift in midfield 

While Power, Fitzgerald, O'Halloran and Barnwell excelled up front
