Kilmessan 2-22 Na Fianna 2-9

Kilmessan recorded their third win in the Meath Junior Hurling Championship with this 13 point victory over Na Fianna in Kiltale.

A Jack Brady goal in the opening minutes set the tone for the game and Kilmessan raced in to a 1-4 to 0-0 lead. Na Fianna found a way past the winners defence for a goal but Kilmessan still held a healthy 1-11 to 1-5 lead at half time.

Alex Smyth and Ger O’Neill pointed early in the second half and when Brady got his second goal the writing was on the wall for Na Fianna. Seven unanswered points sealed a good days work for Kilmessan’s second string.
