The senior football championship final is pencilled in for November 1st while the Jubilee Cup decider will be played two weeks later.
2021 Football Cups:
3 Divisions based on 2021 championship grading. These will start in June.
Feis Cup: Open Draw. 2 Groups of 8. 7 rounds + semi finals and final
Corn Na Boinne: 2 groups of 6 and 1 group of 8. Semi finals and final
Tailteann Cup: To be confirmed.
2021 Hurling Cups:
3 Divisions based on 2021 championship grading. These will start in June.
Davis Cup: 2 groups, open draw, 5 rounds + semi finals and final
Intermediate Cup: As per Davis Cup.
Football Championship:
Starts mid August and finals will be played in late October/November
SFC: Normal groups of 4 with quarter finals
IFC: Normal groups of 4 with quarter finals - 3 teams relegated.
JFC: TBC based on affiliations. Split in Junior and Junior 2 for 2022
Hurling Championship:
Starts mid August after 2020 finals played.
SHC and IHC: Normal groups of six
JHC/J2HC: Format to be confirmed
Premier Championship:
Starts mid June after 2020 finals.
Divisions of 8 with 7 rounds + semi finals, semi finals relegation and finals.
Under 19 Football and U21 Hurling:
Will be played November/December after other championships are complete.
How does the county scene affect club scene:
If Meath are still playing in August, the start of the club championships will be delayed and proposed formats will be kept.
If Meath county teams are beaten earlier the club championship will not start earlier.
