Former Meath hurling manager Nick Fitzgerald is now in day 12 of his 30-day challenge to do 3,000 pushups for charity.
It took a few days for the Waterford native to perfect his technique but as it stands he has reached the 1,200 mark. That included one day of rest and 200 pushups added yesterday Sunday.
Already Nick’s very strenuous challenge has raised over €3,000 for Lauralynn. LauraLynn Children’s Hospice provides Palliative Care & Support for children with life-limiting conditions.
The Kildalkey clubman who managed Meath to Christy Ring Cup success in 2019 is thrilled with the response so far in these very challenging times for all charities who are depending on the generosity of the general public.
