After losing out narrowly to Longwood in the opening round of the senior hurling championship Group A Killyon got back on track with this eight point win over Dunboyne in Lomans Park Trim.

Calvin Ryan was the hero of the hour for the winners scoring three goals. The teams were level at the break 1-5 each.

Next up for Paddy Brennan's charges are Ratoath while Dunboyne will be seeking their first win when they take on six in a row chasing Kiltale.
