Cortown AGM results

A disappointing 2018 but the club are optimistic about 2019.
Cortown’s 49th ever Annual General Meeting took place in the clubhouse on Wednesday December 5th in the clubhouse in front of a good crowd.
Veteran chairman, Pat Lynch shows no sign of calling it a day and is as hungry and passionate about Cortown GFC as he was on day 1. The legendary Lynch will look forward to his 21st year in the chair as we prepare to celebrate 50 years in existence. The boss heaped praise upon the outgoing committee for all their hard work throughout the year!
Although, 2018 was a disappointing year for the club on the field, both Pat and secretary Colm Smith are optimistic about 2019 with Anthony Monaghan at the helm and a whole host of new and emerging talent coming through. There was huge recognition for the organisers, players, clubs and everyone who helped make our Movember effort such a success for our big midfielder, Declan ‘Hightower’ Coyne. The support has been overwhelming from every corner of the county and it is much appreciated.

Assistant-Treasurer: Sinead Fitzsimons.
PRO: Davy Rispin.
Insurance Officer: Ivor O’Halloran.
IT Registrar/Membership Officer: Ivor O’Halloran.
County Board Delegates: Frank Flanagan, John Kerrigan, Paddy Watters, Tómas Barker.
