The Kiltale GAA club are in mourning following the passing of Ronan Kelly.
Ronan, son of club stalwart Paddy and brother to players James and Padraig died suddenly last night (Tuesday, July 3rd).
Despite battling a long illness, Ronan was actively involved in the Kiltale GAA club holding the position of PRO in recent years.
Ever present at club matches, Ronan had a keen eye for hurling and made his feelings known on the game through social media and generally it was hard to argue against his opinion. His cousins Shane McGann and Jack Regan are also an integral part of the Kiltale team that achieved an historic four-in-a-row of Meath senior hurling titles in 2017.
The Kelly family is well-known throughout the county and further afield, but Ronan made his own impression on people and it was always a good one. To his father Paddy, mother Breda, brothers James and Padraig and sister Sarah, we pass on our condolences.
Funeral arrangements:
Reposing at his parents' house from 2pm on Friday 6th July with removal on Saturday morning for 11am Mass in Kiltale Church. House private on Saturday morning.
