Clann Na nGael 3-14 Dunboyne 1-15

Clann na nGael put in an impressive all-round performance in this strongly contested Division 2 Hurling League match against Dunboyne in Athboy on Friday May 11th. 

Clann's gave an excellent first half display in scoring 3-08 and looked comfortable at half time despite shooting 9  wides in the opening 30 minutes. An opportunistic and extremely well taken goal by Paddy Geraghty was the highlight of the first half. 

While Dunboyne put up a much sterner test in the second half, Clann's ran out comfortable winners on a score line of 3-14 to 1-15 to secure their 3rd win from 4 games in the Division 2 Hurling League. 

Best for Clann na nGael were Luke Swaine, Gary Mangan, Ciaran Fitzsimons, Sean Reilly and Paddy Geraghty.
