Skryne GFC ladies footballer Saoirse McGrath has been crowned Meath Rose for 2018.
22-year-old Saoirse beat off stiff competition to take the title at the Newgrange Hotel last night.
In her third year of general nursing in DCU, Saoirse has lined out for Meath in the past and is an accomplished athlete.
She has two Leinster medals for athletics in the 800m and has represented DCU at the intervarsities cross country.
She will now go forward and represent the Royal County at the annual Rose of Tralee event this year.
