Goals proved to be decisive for Clonard as they secured an impressive win in Round 5 A.FL. Div 4 against Boardsmill.
The home side got off to a flying start when Jason Moore opened the scoring with a point from play followed by scores from Gary Raleigh (0-3), Jason Dowdall, Eoghan Connolly and Jason Moore to go into the break 0-7 to 0-4.
The scoring rate continued for Clonard with Mikey Mullen (1-2), Eoghan Connolly (0-2), Gary Raleigh (1-0 penalty), Darren McNevin (0-1) and Steffen Kelly (1-0) adding the third goal to claim the victory.
