A youthful Trim team travelled to Rathkenny for this ACFL Division 2 fixture and came away with the two points.
Aaron Lynch, Darragh Lynch, Mikie Cullen and Mark Murray were the Trim stars in this great win.
Aaron Lynch was making his adult debut for the Town side and top scored with five points that included the winner on the 31st minute.
Rathkenny lead for most of this match but the young Trim team never gave up and battled to the end to secure a vital victory for Brendan Murphy's charges.

Despite racing into an early lead and dominating the opening stages, Rathkenny went into the break only leading by the minimum.
The second half was a tense affair with the conditions proving difficult for both teams, however Trim took their chances well and ran out victorious in the finish.
