Barry takes the Na Fianna reins

Eamonn Barry has taken over as manager of the Na Fianna senior football team.

The former Meath manager takes over from Ned Devine. Barry had been in charge of Ratoath this year until his unfortunate car accident.

The former Walterstown and Meath footballer took over from Sean Boylan as The Royals manager in 2006 and won the O'Byrne Cup.

Na Fianna have made great strides in the past three years, winning the Intermediate Football Championship in 2012 and reaching the senior football championship decider last year. The club have also climbed from Division 3 in the league to Division 1 in three years.
