Briget Carney presents flowers to Liz Howard (Camogie Association President) at the Meath Camogie Board Dinner Dance.
The Meath Camogie Board ran a very successful presentation Dinner Dance on Friday 6th March in Knightsbrook Hotel, Trim.
Liz Howard president of the Camogie association who attended on the night spoke very highly of the progress of camogie in Meath and the way in which the development of the game has progressed over the past few years, she was also delighted to see Our main sponsor Tom Bailey of Bovale Developments attend with a number of other sporting representatives from the County : Barney Allen, Chairperson of the Meath County Board, T.J Reilly former Meath Hurling Chairperson, David Dempsey Meath Ladies Football Chairperson, Ray Quigley Chairperson of Leinster Council.
Liz Howard presented the All Ireland Nancy Murray Cup & National League Div 4 Medals to Meath County Camogie team with the help of Ray Quigley Leinster Council & John Davis Meath Manager.

Junior league fixture played on saturday 7th march at 4.30pm in Drumree. Boardsmill defeated Drumree on a score line of 3.3 to 1.0 to notch up their second win in the league. The scores for the winners came from Michelle Dixon with 2 points,Enda Kennedy with 1 point and the goals coming from Deirdre Gibbons,Aisling O Rourke and Sandra Dixon. Best Performances on the day came from Michelle Dixon and Sinead McLoughlin.

Na Fianna's good run in the Junior League was stopped by Dunderry on Saturday afternoon in Baconstown when Dunderry overcame the Na Fianna girls by 9 points. Na Fianna put in a spirited performance but it was Magariette Stevns who was on fire for Dunderry notching up 1-5.

Dunboyne are on the way to their to the top of the table of the Senior League with a comprehensive win over Senior Champions Blackhall Gaels.
With the smallest of margins between the two teams it was the impressive play of Aoife Thompson, Aine Keogh, Sinead Hackett , Orlaith Curran that helped Dunboyne to victory.

The Wind factory had a lot do with the playing conditions in Trim yesterday afteroon as Trim defeated Killyon in the Senior League. Killyon going in at half time were ahead 0-4 to Trims 1 point but it was Trim that turned in around in the Second half. Killyon missed some scorable opportunities . Trim had some notable performance from Emma McNally, Rachel Winters, Edel Guy, Aisling Fagan and Dearbhla O'Carroll . Killyon Stacey Duignan, Fiona Coughlan & substitute Hazel Colman done well.
