Mayo's Enda Varley
Mayo manager John O'Mahony will hand Connacht SFC debuts to four players against Sligo on Saturday.

Chris Barrett, Seamus O'Shea, Alan Freeman and Enda Varley will all make their championship bows in Markievicz Park as O'Mahony opts to ring the changes in the wake of Mayo's disappointing NFL final display. Belmullet clubman Chris Barrett starts at right corner back, Breaffy's Seamus O'Shea is named at centre forward, while Aghamore's Alan Freeman and Enda Varley of Garrymore start in the full forward line.

The changes from the league final team see dual star Keith Higgins return from injury to start at left corner back instead of Liam O'Malley, Tom Cunniffe return in place of Trevoer Howley at centre back, Ronan McGarrity come into midfield with Seamus O'Shea switching to centre forward instead of Alan Dillon.

In the full forward line, Aidan O'Shea and Mark Ronaldson make way for Freeman and Varley.

Mayo (SF v Sligo): D Clarke; C Barrett, G Cafferkey, K Higgins; D Vaughan, T Cunniffe, K McLoughlin; T Parsons, R McGarrity; A Moran, S O'Shea, T Mortimer; C Mortimer, A Freeman, E Varley.
