Shrule/Glencorrib is almost as famous for its huge lotto jackpots as it is for producing the Mayo footballing brothers Kenneth, Trevor and Conor Mortimer.
So when the €27,300 jackpot was won by two players from opposite ends of the country last Monday night, it came as no surprise. The lucky winners were Nuala Knox from Donegal and Eleanor O’Connell from Waterford who will each receive €13,650.
An even bigger Shrule/Glencorrib jackpot of €29,300 was won by Alan Larkin from nearby Ballintubber in September 2021. The jackpot has been reset at €20,000 and can be played anytime online.
