Tour: Best wishes to our club captain Niall Conlon who is heading off to on a tour of duty to the Lebanon with the defence forces on the 18th of November, also going on the same tour is Sean Mulholland from Kilsaran. We wish both boys’ a safe tour; keep the head down lads and good luck from all at the club.

Bingo: Bingo will continue in our clubrooms this Wednesday 6th November at 8.00pm, jackpot €5,800 in 48 numbers. 

Social Dancing: There will be social dancing on Saturday 16th November in our clubrooms from 9.00pm, music by Unity, admission €10 and refreshments will be served.

Forum: The third annual Louth GAA Youth Forum will take place the Darver Centre of Excellence on Saturday 23rd November @ 10am-1.30pm. If any of our youth members aged 15 or 16 would like to attend this forum contact our club secretary to book your place on the course. 

Leinster: Best of luck to Mattock Rangers, Roche Emmets and Newtown Blues who play in the Leinster Intermediate, junior and senior championship quarter finals this Saturday and Sunday.   

Rules: Three new rules will come into effect next season in inter county football for 2020; they were passed at a special congress a few weeks ago in Corks Pairc Ui Chaoimh.  The sin bin will be when a player receives a black card he will spend ten minutes in the bin, the advanced mark for a clean catch will also come into effect and all kick outs will be taken from the 20 meter line. 

Draw: Louth GAA is pleased to announce details of the launch of the Wee County Double House Draw, a fundraising initiative where two houses are up for grabs. The first drawn ticket will win the choice of a brand new three-bed semi-detached house at Sea View Way in Blackrock, Dundalk or at Beaulieu Village in Drogheda. The second drawn ticket will win the remaining house. The third prize in the draw is €10,000. Tickets cost €100. The total value of the prizes is in excess of €500,000 though alternative cash prizes are also on offer. All monies raised from the draw will go towards the funding of the new Louth GAA Stadium. Those interested in buying tickets should contact their local Louth GAA club, or alternatively purchase on www.pickahouse.ie (details of specified shops/offices are also listed on the website).
