Happy Christmas: Dromard GAA would like to wish all our players, members and supporters a very happy and safe Christmas and every best wish for 2021. Thank you to all those who supported the club in different ways throughout the year, including most recently all of you who signed up for our Monthly Members Draw. Your support is instrumental to the successful running of the Club and the activities provided for our members, players and the local community. Unfortunately, it has not been possible for us to have any social gatherings with our supporters this year but we look forward to brighter days in 2021and the opportunity to meet up once again.

Thank You: The Club would like to thank Padraig O’Brien and the Longford Leader for their help and cooperation in publishing our club notes every week and for their excellent coverage of gaelic games in Longford.

Christmas Day Masses: Masses for Christmas day began on Monday 21 December – please see the full programme of masses below. Fr Pat would be most grateful if as many people as possible would come to Mass on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Please note that you can only attend one Mass for Christmas this year and people are asked not to congregate outside the church door for any Mass. The Children’s Mass on Christmas Eve 24 December at 5pm in Legga is limited to primary school children and their parents only. Secondary school children and other adults are asked to attend one of the other Masses during the week. These restrictions are necessary in order to comply fully with the HSE guidelines and to protect ourselves from COVID-19. Those attending Mass are asked to co-operate with the ushers on duty in both churches.

Schedule of Christmas Day Masses: Please note that all of the following Masses are of equal importance. Monday 21 December: Legga at 7pm. Tuesday 22 December: Moyne at 7pm. Wednesday 23 December: Legga at 7pm. Thursday 24 December Christmas Eve: Mass for children and parents at 5pm in Legga. Mass for adults at 7pm in Moyne. You are also asked to please remember when using the walking track to keep your dogs on a leash and clean up dog litter. Bicycles are not allowed on the track and ask your children not to take their bikes on the track. Thank you.
