Seamus Flanagan is expected to miss Limerick's Munster SHC final showdown with Clare on Sunday.
The full forward, who memorably scored 3-3 in the Treaty County's defeat to Cork last month, pulled up with a hamstring injury in the 10-point win over Waterford a fortnight ago, after which manager John Kiely said “it’s highly unlikely" that he will be involved in the final.
The five-in-a-row chasing All-Ireland champions are also without another key forward in Peter Casey after he suffered a broken ankle against Tipperary, but corner back Sean Finn and midfielder Darragh O'Donovan could both come back into the reckoning after injury layoffs.
