Aaron Gillane will start for Limerick in the All-Ireland SHC final at Croke Park on Sunday [3.30pm], despite doubts over the fitness of the Patrickswell forward.
The Treaty County's top scorer was rated just '50-50' by selector Donal O'Grady last week having sustained a heavy knock, which caused him to be hospitalised.
The 24-year-old picked up the injury during the semi-final win over Galway but he is deemed fit enough to take his place at corner forward against Waterford as manager John Kiely selects an unchanged side.
Meanwhile, Gillane's brother Jason is named in goal for the Limerick U20's in their Munster hurling championship semi-final meeting with Cork at the LIT Gaelic Grounds tomorrow [4.30pm].
The county minors will also be provincial action on Saturday afternoon when they face the Rebels in Semple Stadium at 1pm.
