It was a very busy week at underage with mixed results. The Div 2 U17s had a win over St Josephs on Mon last but Drumkeerin were stronger than the Div 3 U17 side on Friday. The Under 13s Div 2 side beat St Josephs but Dromahaire and St Brigids were the victors on Tuesday and Friday. All underage will be in action this coming week so check fixtures and support the youth.

In a close and very entertaining championship game in Ballinamore on Saturday last, Mohill just about got the better of a fast and fit home side. The game could have gone anyway especially when we lost our midfielder Keith Keegan to a second yellow card, giving Ballinamore hope of a home victory but Mohill stood firm and won in the end by a Jordan Reynolds goal. Next Friday they play Fenagh in Mohill.
The second string had another close encounter when they entertained Cloone in the Junior A Championship. Neither side got too far ahead and a draw was a fair result, 1-10 apiece. The panel was J Farry, D Duignan, D Gordon, R Bohan, A Tuthill, S McGowan, P O’Neill, T Mulligan, D McLoughlin, C Quinn 0-1, J Boyle, R Gordon 1-6, E Harkin, F McGuinness 0-3, S Kennedy, C Baxter. This team has a bye next week.
Well done to Eslin on winning the first round of their championship
