Fenagh St Caillins club notes

August 10, 2021

Leitrim Senior Football Championship - this year's championship got under way at the weekend with Pairc Sean O'Laodain hosting the clash of Fenagh St Caillins and Ballinamore Sean O'Heslins. Despite the incessant rain in the days and hours leading up to the game, the pitch was in fantastic shape and our team of stewards were on hand again to ensure traffic and spectators flowed smoothly. The game itself was eagerly anticipated since the teams drawn encounter last summer however, on this occasion, it was the men from Fenagh who edged the contest winning on a scoreline of 1.13 to 0.13. See elsewhere in this weeks Leitrim Observer for John Connolly's report on the game. Our lads have no game this coming weekend. On Friday week 20th August they travel to take on championship favourites Mohill.

Other fixtures and results - on Friday last Fenagh St Caillins u15 recorded another victory in this years championship overcoming Dromahair by 10.12 to 3.09.
