Junior B Final

Congratulations to the Junior B Panel and management on winning the 2020 Championship Final on Sat evening last. This was a keenly contested game that belied the Junior B status of both sides. Allen Gaels must feel very disappointed but let’s face it, Mohill are renowned for last minute goals over their last very successful seasons. The Gaels showed great skills over the hour which shows well for their future but Saturday was for Mohill and congrats to Oisín Madden who won the Man of the Match award.

Under 13s

The U13s played a very strong Rinn Gaels team on Thursday last in Div 1. The boys played out of their skins and could have won with a bit of luck, but the Gaels were worthy winners by a goal in the end. The defenders gave it their all and Jack Gillheaney pulled off some great saves and perfect kick outs. The defence had their hands full but were heroic, the forwards who worked tirelessly. On Friday they travelled to Dromod to play the same opposition in Div 2 and ended up convincing winners in that division.

Young Stars

Both Tomás Mayock and Evan Kilrane represented Mohill on the Leitrim County U15 team that won all their games in Ballyhaunis on Saturday last. Commiserations to Conor Keegan and Eoghan Duignan who were on the Leitrim Minor team that went down to Sligo

Upcoming Fixtures

Next weekend Mohill Seniors will start the defence of their Championship title when the meet Allen Gaels in Pairc Philib Mhic Aonghusa on Saturday next at 7pm. Our second team will play the Reserve Div 1 League Final on Sunday at 1pm vs Ballinamore in Mohill. Check fixtures in case of change. We wish the panel and management the best of lucks.
