Fenagh St Caillins club notes

June 15, 2021

Cathal Flynn R.I.P. - Fenagh St Caillins Gaa Club wish to express our sympathy to the family of the late Cathal Flynn following his recent passing. Another Gaa legend of yesteryear passes to his eternal reward. Renowned as a score getter supreme on a national scale Cathal played for the Fenagh minor team in their championship winning years of 1950 and 1951 before going on to star for Leitrim, win a Railway Cup medal with Connacht and represent Ireland. His death is all the more sadder coming so soon after the passing of his good friend and footballing twin Packie McGarty. Ar dheis Dé go raibh a anam dílis.
