U15

Our U15s were out last Saturday week  in Drumreilly playing St Bridget’s. We got back to winning ways on a score line 1-16 to 1-04. Next up is Melvin Gaels Saturday at home at 12 o’clock.

Cathal Clancy and Mamie Reilly tournament

We held our annual U9 and U11  tournament bank holiday Monday playing Cloone. We were lucky with the weather, it being such a nice day. Our U7s started off the day’s entertainment with two evenly matched teams and some great scoring. Following this, our U9s took the Mamie Reilly cup in a very tight game.  Last up was U11 Cathal Clancy Cup. After a very tough entertaining game, we came out on top. It was great to see Cathal’s niece Clodagh playing for our U9s and his cousin John playing for Cloone, playing in the U7s game. We thank all the Cloone players, coaches and supporters for coming up on such a busy weekend for them. We thank everyone who helped out with catering and all our coache’s hard work all year, also to thank our two refs on the day, Frank and Michelle. Thanks to all that helped out on the day.

U 15

Last Saturday we played Melvin Gaels at home.  It was a very entertaining game with some great displays of football. We came away with a win with the score 15 to 2-06. We have qualified for the semifinals. No date fixed yet.
