A stunning second-half comeback sealed back-to-back Laois SHC titles for Clough-Ballacolla at the expense of Borris-Kilcotton at MW Hire O'Moore Park.

In a quite remarkable final this afternoon, the holders overturned a seven-point half-time deficit to win by one, 1-25 to 2-21.

Clough-Ballacolla went without a score until the 10th minute when Willie Dunphy opened their account after Borris-Kilcotton clipped six unanswered points.

Ciaran Comerford's side were destined to land the Bob O'Keefe trophy as they established a commanding 0-10 to 1-14 interval advantage with thanks to Daire Quinlan's goal.

Stephen Bergin's 32nd minute goal lit the touch paper for a superb revival before Aaron Dunphy responded at the other end but that didn't derail the battle-hardened champions.
