It was an amazing week for Dublin ladies football star Hannah Tyrrell.
Yesterday, the former Ireland international rugby player scored five from play as the Dubs defeated Mayo 1-17 to 2-9 to keep their hopes of a a fifth successive All-Ireland SFC title alive.
Tyrrell's semi-final performance earned her the Player of the Match award, just three days after she married her partner Sorcha Turnbell.
“It's been a pretty good week so far, I can't really complain, everything is going right for me. Hi to Sorcha, my new wife," Tyrrell spoke to TG4 at Croke Park afterwards.
"It's been emotional, a little bit draining but it's great to get the win and we're in an All-Ireland final."
