Unexpected hero Hazel Kingham kicked the last two points of Donaghmoyne's All Ireland Senior Final win over Mourneabbey at Parnell Park yesterday.
The full-back followed her marker upfield and got on the end of attacks with two superb finishes, though she was quick to deflect praise onto All Star goalkeeper Linda Martin.
"Our manager said that today someone different had to step up, and today Linda did us proud."
The remarkable Monaghan team won by 0-11 to 0-8 and they have now won four All Irelands in ten years.
