Dublin star James McCarthy says the Dubs’ rivalry with Kerry is one like no other.
The old foes clash in the biggest date on the football calendar this Sunday at Croke Park (3.30pm) and, speaking to RTE Sport ahead of the decider, McCarthy says “a massive challenge” awaits the capital men.
"There is something a bit more special about it, there’s no point denying it," said the Ballymun Kickhams man.
"They’re an excellent team, the defending All-Ireland champions, and they showed their class and mettle in the final ten minutes against Derry when they rattled off five or six points in a row.
"It’s a massive challenge for us."
On the threat of David Clifford, he added: "He’s probably the best player in the country at the moment, the way he’s playing.
"It’s going to be a huge challenge, he’s one of the in-form forwards, but we’re not going to be standing back and watching him kick balls over the bar either. That's our job, to try and stop him, and that’s what we look forward to doing."
