Eoin Murphy was hailed as the "greatest goalkeeper of all-time" by his former Kilkenny team-mate Paul Murphy after yesterday's All-Ireland SHC semi-final.
The Glenmore custodian almost single-handedly kept the Cats in the game with some heroic saves before Cork eventually prevailed after extra-time.
The late Tony Reddin of Tipperary, who was selected on both the GAA's Hurling Team of the Century in 1984 and Hurling Team of the Millennium in 2000, is widely regarded as the greatest ever hurling goalkeeper, but that could change if Murphy keeps producing performances like what was witnessed in Croke Park yesterday.
On a separate note. And I don't say this lightly. Take a look at this man... Greatest goalkeeper of all-time. pic.twitter.com/5Rba5BqGLC
