Clonguish Gaels, Cullion, Conahy Shamrocks and Ballygarrett are through to the last four of the Leinster club JHC following their quarter-final victories this afternoon.
Clonguish struck a blow for Longford hurling when Joe O'Brien and Bart Hanley scored 2-14 between them in a 2-15 to 1-12 victory over Laois representatives Mountmellick at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.
At Pairc Tailteann, Jack Galvin - who had been an injury doubt beforehand - bagged a hat-trick as Westmeath's Cullion defeated Clann na nGael of Meath on a 4-9 to 1-10 scoreline.
Kilkenny champions Conahy Shamrocks came away from Swords with a 2-17 to 1-7 victory over Dublin kingpins Fingallians, while Wexford's Ballygarrett edged out Naomh Brid of Carlow by 3-9 to 1-12 in Fenagh.
