Bryan Sheehan is expected to be fit for Kerry's All-Ireland SFC quarter-final after he was injured in a club game yesterday.
Sheehan was forced off with a rib injury after only five minutes of South Kerry's 1-13 to 0-10 victory over Dingle in the third round of the Kerry SFC at Austin Stack Park. However, Radio Kerry is reporting that the injury isn't serious and he should be available for the Kingdom's last-eight tie.
Sheehan's county team-mate Killian Young was outstanding at wing back for South Kerry and could be pushing for a Kerry starting place the next day after coming on as a sub for the injured Fionn Fitzgerald in last Sunday week's facile Munster SFC final victory over Cork.
