Westmeath hurlers shuffle the deck

Westmeath hurling manager Kevin Martin has made three changes to his side for Saturday's meeting with Leinster rivals Carlow.

Christopher Flanagan returns to the side at corner back, Ronan Whelan is named at wing back while Derek McNicholas comes into the forward unit.

Westmeath have lost all five games to date put have performed well in defeat to big guns Limerick, Clare and Antrim.

They will be underdogs against a Carlow outfit which is bidding to bounce back from successive defeats to Limerick and Antrim over the past three weeks.
