Draw for 2016 Galway Championship live on RTÉ RnaG

The draw for the 2016 Galway Senior and Intermediate Football Championship will be broadcast live on RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta from their HQ in Casla, Connemara, on Tuesday 9 February at 8.30 pm.

There will be 20 teams in the hat for the senior competition, and 16 in the intermediate championship.  The Senior competition will include last year's champions Corofin, last year's intermediate champions Moycullen, and 5 other Gaeltacht teams - An Cheathrú Rua, Naomh Anna, Carna/Caiseal, Micheál Breathnach and Bearna. 

The intermediate teams will include Naomh Feichín, An Clochán, who won the 2015 Junior Championship, as well as 3 Gaeltacht teams - An Spidéal, Oileáin Árann and Claregalway.

There will be officials from the County Board present for the draw, as well as representatives from clubs across the county. 

The draw will be broadcast live on Tuesday 9 February from 8.30 pm - 9 pm, and the results will also be posted to the RnaG Sport Twitter account @SportRnaG, and to the station Facebook account.
