St Thomas star Fintan Burke says the clash of times between Sunday’s All-Ireland club SHC semi-finals and the World Cup final “doesn't really matter” to him and his team mates.
The Galway champions are set to take on Dunloy of Antrim at Croke Park at 1.30pm, which will be followed by the other last four clash between holders Ballygunner (Waterford) and Ballyhale Shamrocks (Kilkenny) at 3.30pm.
With France playing Argentina in the World Cup final in Qatar at 3pm Irish time, there is set to be a clash between games but Burke says he has no problem with Sunday’s schedule at Croker.
"It doesn't really matter to us because we are all hurling men," he is quoted saying by BBC Sport NI.
"To be honest with you, it wouldn't really affect us. We don't care if there are only two people watching our game on telly. It doesn't affect us and we don't let it affect us."
