Errigal vs Donaghmore

I think Donaghmore will win as star player Dermot McAleer will lead the flower boys to the W. Donaghmore to next round HERE WE GO!!"
Thats a wrap. Errigal wins the rezies thanks to stand out performer Mal Grimes who was tremendous at keeping the flower boys out. Whats the opinions?

Mal is excellent goalie. Suppose its easy for him when he had Ruairi + Peter Canavan midfield plucking ball out of the sky. Still he saved that one on one in final minutes like Martinez vs France 2022 world cup final. MOTM in my opinion.

Last year's championship winners Loughmacrory through to the semifinals after Omagh limped out and double blow for Omagh as this regulates them to Division 2. Edendork eased into semifinal with the big game tomorrow night, Errigal v Trillick. Carrick and Donaghmore have to go again.

Donaghmore into the semi final after beating Carrickmore by 17 points in their replay. Don't rule Donaghmore out. 99 years from they last won the O Neill Cup.

Knockout football is great as teams cant win 2 in a row

They can if they're good enough. Plenty counties had knockout championships in the past and had teams winning multiples in a row.
Half the teams only getting one championship game is a real problem with knockout. It was grand back in the day when lads didn't train as much and played for a bit craic. But in an era where they dedicate a lot of time to training and preparing, it doesn't give them much chance to enjoy the fruits of that. Players love games, especially championship games at the end of the summer.

Big day today for Edendork and Errigal but doubly big for Edendork. A chance to win the Tyrone championship for the first time in history but if they're beat they have regulation battle to stay in Div 1. They're too good to go down. No Canavans starting , Darragh got injured in last training session.

Morgan kicks a 2 pointer in injury time to win Tyrone championship by a point, What a kick. Edendork first time winners after Loughmacrory first time winners last year.

What a way to win your first senior championship club medal for your team. Morgan a holder of a senior All Ireland medal with Tyrone said that it was the highlight of his career. Shows what the GAA is all about. Congratulations to all in Edendork.

Brilliant kick under pressure from Morgan to win it at the death. Very impressed with the Edendork half back line. McCurry was sublime in the first half.

A great nights entertainment for the neutrals on a dark winter Friday evening. More Friday night games please. Well done to all in Edendork and enjoy the celebrations.

A very enjoyable match, thank the lord the game wasn't scheduled for tonight as the pitch would have been a swamp
The two point rule change has been a game changer since it's introduction.

And CiarraiMick, the hundreds of young supporters from both sides meeting in the middle of the field while switching ends for the second half was a joy. Football is alive and kicking all over Ireland.
