Thanks for that. Have Truagh been docked points? Still on the website they have 2 and Killeevan none. See Scotstown have been playing boys in Junior championship who played senior league football this year according to published match reports. Surely a C team is the third team. Training must be hard for Niall as he has former county minor star Ronan Boyle marking him and would be a test for any forward so 1.06 is brilliant return especially with the weather these days against the forward but hopefully he can preform better in the next training and get the better of the veteran Boyle.

One rule for scotstown different rules for the rest of us. This is abhorrant and must be stopped immediately. Why do Scotstown have a 2nds team if they have to play Senior men in the 3rds team. Absolute disgrace to the county. Yes Truagh have been docked points I don't know why it does not show up on the website. If 1 team is punished, they all must be. Just happened to click in here as the Monaghan thread was near the top of the list when I browsed onto the site. Obviously not familiar myself with the intricacies of what you're talking about, but just to let you know that a player's championship grading is in no way linked to where he might have played in a separate league competition in the same year. All that matters is where he played in championship either last year or this year so far. Am taking it that Scotstown have three teams, but even if they don't, the following would hold true anyway: - Somebody who only played for the third team in last year's championship would retain his grading to play for the third team in this year's championship, no matter where he might have played in the League. - Somebody who played for the second team in last year's championship could be regraded to the third team for this year's, again even if he'd played in the "Senior" division of the League. If championship grading was linked to appearances in a secondary League competition, that'd be detrimental to the League. Say your first team was due to play a League match but was short a few players. Normally you'd bring up Tommy, Billy, and Jack from the second team to make up the numbers. But would you do so if those three had no real prospect of playing for the first team when the championship came round, and having used them with the first team in the League would mean they couldn't play for the second team in the championship either?
