Suppose for a moment that professionalism does come to the gaa,and certain clubs or counties are in position to offer players professional contracts for joining them,the same way St Kilda offered Kobe a professional contract. Would you be supportive of any player who takes up their offer?"

Replying To Seniorleague:  "Its not nonsense. There are large numbers of people working professionally within the gaa getting paid to do what they do. Its is in no way a totally amateur organisation.
Yes community identity is important in the gaa but there are loads of players who have moved clubs and loads of outside managers, many of whom are ALSO getting paid.
And for the life of me i cant figure out how a player switching from one gaa club to another harms the irish culture."

The only real difference is that the fella moving club is staying within the gaa, which is a good thing,and is motivated by sporting reasons,and not financial ones."
