Too close to call, but if Rory is out, whole thing swings in Louths favour.
Rory is worth 4-6 points a game on his frees/45s, and means the opposing team just can't afford to foul anywhere near the scoring area. Without him, tackles don't need to be as disciplined, because the punishment on the scoreboard isn't as likely.
Given we're not blessed with many ball winning options in the middle, Rory's accurate distribution is also a huge factor.
Couldn't see us winning without him between the sticks…

With one leg Rory will play. Maybe half a leg. Such nonsense thinking he wouldn't be available despite sprinting off the pitch and down the tunnel last week with 4 minutes remaining.

Skeptical about the team named. Gut tells me they are giving Beggan every possible chance to play. Doesn't sound good thats a hard injury to tecover from in a week. Its a game changer if he is out or not properly fit.

Replying To TheHunter:  "The M1 toll will be chaos. Not sure what part of the county your in, but it might be worth while thinking about detouring cross country to head into the city via Cavan/M3. I know a lot of people from the west of the County head that way. It may not be the most direct route but you will avoid the Louth traffic."
You would want to be on the road from 9am. M1 is going to be chaotic even before the toll bridge. That's even outside of the extra trains being confirmed.

We've no right being there without him......

Would be very shocked if he didn't play and have a massive influence on the game regardless of what niggle/injury he's carrying.

As usual most pundits tipping louth to win so we go again as underdogs plenty of noise about louth but reality is dublin we're a shambles when louth won and armagh were poor on the day for 1 reason or another Newbridge last year was really a 10 point win apart from a consolation goal near the end monaghan by 4 muineachan abu

Both are there on merit.

They beat Armagh and Dublin. The Armagh win was lucky but they still had to put themselves in the position to be lucky.

Very unfair comment , we beat Roscommon and Westmeath , not exactly power houses and we were at home , we had more than our fair share of luck

Different gig this year. Last year you got a Louth team that had reached the Holy Grail by winning Leinster for the first time in 68 years . They celebrated accordingly. The year before in Clones is a more accurate reflection of what will happen on Sunday.despite being played under the old rules that was a really good, competitive game that ended in a draw.

Pundits don't operate out of bookies or give odds

Louth should've won that game handsomely.

I'm sure you'd agree both panels definitely stronger than 2024?
