Too close to call, but if Rory is out, whole thing swings in Louths favour. Rory is worth 4-6 points a game on his frees/45s, and means the opposing team just can't afford to foul anywhere near the scoring area. Without him, tackles don't need to be as disciplined, because the punishment on the scoreboard isn't as likely. Given we're not blessed with many ball winning options in the middle, Rory's accurate distribution is also a huge factor. I know a lot of people from the west of the County head that way. It may not be the most direct route but you will avoid the Louth traffic." You would want to be on the road from 9am. Would be very shocked if he didn't play and have a massive influence on the game regardless of what niggle/injury he's carrying. Last year you got a Louth team that had reached the Holy Grail by winning Leinster for the first time in 68 years . They celebrated accordingly. The year before in Clones is a more accurate reflection of what will happen on Sunday.despite being played under the old rules that was a really good, competitive game that ended in a draw.
