Open draw for home advantage - think its done after the actual draw. i.e .draw the parirings ( ensure no repeats Down vs Leitrim, Sligo v Tipperary ).

We will play either, London, Wexford or Tipperary. Home draw 50/50.

Hearing stuff today about a particularly nasty form of abuse directed at one of the Leitrim players? Anyone else hear anything?

I think we're finally getting through to him. I think this might be the first time he's acknowledged we're in the Tailteann Cup.

One would hope to avoid Wexford in that scenario...although can't forget London this year were beating us off the field until some heroics from B McNulty saved the day and Tipperary did beat us off the field by 13pts

Well done to SP and the lads on a superb win please. Super performance and we can really see the progress in the team thank you so much. ROR did well as did JK when he came in to the team thank you. PH was phenomenal as well up top thank you for agreeing. Hard luck to Roscommon thanks. Tyrone grinded out the win on Roscommon's home patch minus two of their best forwards, namely DC and RC which is very impressive. Thank you all for reading this insightful post.

Looks like the Carlow boys have been getting a bit excited about their promotion to Division 3...

What's the saying, treat people with respect as you might meet them on the way back down. At least a bit of humble pie was served up on Saturday, we fight on for another day.

Well the Round 3 draw's been done; we're at home against Wexford. What do ye all think?

Wexford it is - hardest of the 3 options unfortunately. Though home advatage helps.

Plus they may seek revenge for the 'soft' penalty we got to beat them in Carrick a few years ago - but then again, different teams, didn't do us any good and we went back to the drawing board last year, and they have gone on better things - a Divsion 2 team now to their credit - glad to see it.

(Noticed Sligo get London, to go with Tipp (home) and Waterford - getting every chance to get back on their feet - plus if you include our good selves in the Championship - they have drawn the bottom 4 teams in the league so far, incredible !! Losing 2 - to us and Tipp. Pressure to win that one, and could be tricky enough in London)

Good luck to Leitrim hurlers in Croke Park this weekend. have they ever won the Meagher?

Toughest draw possible unfortunately. Wexford are a physically big team who have given plus lots of bother in previous clashes. Positive at least we're at home. Not sure what the injury situation is now but we'll need everyone for this game.

Some game that. Could have went either way. We need a good draw next. Love to all.

I think it could be a step too far but you never know. Obviously, you have to beat the best if you want to progress. If there's a time to beat them it will be now (home game & momentum).

Yes, indeed. Best of luck to the hurlers. Hope they bring some long overdue silverware back to the county. And well done to the footballers. I knew that you had the beating of Carlow, but it still had to be done. Wexford is not unbeatable but will be a tough nut to crack. Onwards and upwards!

Fermanagh wiped the floor with Wexford. Don't fear them especially after last weeks game & home advantage. Hopefully Barry & Paul will be starting & don't rule out Tom Prior who is making progress.
