Niland left off the 26 for the u20 semi final tomorrow night so he is definitely being spared for the senior game against Dublin on Saturday. Jason Rabbitte and Cullen Killeen only on the bench. Good to see Colm Burke back on the panel after injury. Sean Murphy and Conor Gilligan's injuries haven't cleared up yet but it's still a very strong team" It wouldn't really make sense for Niland to be 'spared for Saturday' though, it's surely more likely that he isn't fit enough to play, otherwise with the matchday panel being expanded to 26 for tomorrow, he would surely be on the bench at least. Niland was the difference between the teams the first day out and it's not worth taking the chance on leaving him out entirely if he is fit. It's not long ago when your good self claimed Dublin would beat Galway no matter where they played. When I checked the record between Dublin and Galway in the so called Leinster championship Galway's record is better - perception and fact don't always agree.
