A complete joke that Daire Cregg has to sit out Sunday's game for a nothing incident. You can be sure the same if not worse is done Sunday any player won't be booked nevermind sent off and given a suspension.

A tough task has become more uphill task now and unfortunately possible replacements Conor Cox,Ben O'Carroll,Cian McKeon have played little or no football for Roscommon this year.

Anyway before then our U20s in Semi Final action tomorrow in Castlebar. We need a major improvement on what we showed last Wednesday to hope to beat Galway. Better weather conditions might help.

Best of luck to Roscommon U20s and management tomorrow.

Hope the County Board take this to the DRA. Cregg should be playing Sunday. A poor refereeing decision in New York should have been overturned last night.

When the dubs weren't able to get Get Brennan off the hook I can't see the red card against Cregg getting rescinded. It's a pity because he is a great player and normally doesn't pick up cards

Think they just need to focus on Sunday now and hopefully get the win. Be great to win in castlebar without cregg stack fallon and McKeon.

While I agree is there the risk of a further game ban then if they lose appeal. I don't know.

Winning without cregg, stack and fallon is a tall order.

No. No increase in punishment for a failed case, be it with the CHC, CAC or DRA.

The DRA is different to the previous appeal in that it's no longer looking at whether the initial decision in NY was right/wrong but instead looking at whether they arrived at the calls around the punishment in a fair and procedurally correct manner. So at this point it'd be challenging technicalities like the video evidence not being verified correctly, paperwork issues or a failure in fairness on how the previous decisions were made rather than the fundamentals of the 'strike' itself.

DRA appeals doesn't come cheap while money is no object to the Dubs plus what Ger Brennan did there was zero chance of him ever getting off.

Not impossible though.

On a side note, Officals shouldn't be allow ref or be a sideline offical if they come from the same provinces, especially for championship games.

Are Stack and Fallon definitely out for Sunday. I thought Stack was back training a couple of weeks ago.

Thanks. I'd say we would be better just play the game now and see how we get on. Whole point of a panel is using it when these challenges arrive

Well done to the Roscommon U20 players into the Connacht final with a deserved win. In truth we were 5 or 6 points the better team but made it harder for ourselves with our shooting. We had ten more shots on goal than Galway and within those misses was three goal chances.

Mayo will be strong favourites in the final next Wednesday especially with them rested and will be our 3rd game in 14 days but better to be in the final than not.

Great win for the under 20's tonight against Galway to win by a point. It did not look great for the team when Galway scored three points in the first three minutes after the restart to go five points ahead. However the game was won in the next 20 minutes when Roscommon outscored Galway by 1-6 to 0-1.
Some very impressive performances from the team all over the pitch but the pick of the bunch for me was captain Eoghan Carthy (very solid, determined and mature player) Charlie O' Carroll and impact substitute Ruaru Kilcline who scored 1-2 from play when he came on in the second half.
Lots to work on for the final against a strong Mayo team next week, particularly;
* Stop some wild shooting under pressure from distance for low percentage potential scores.
Well done to Cian Smith and his management team and the players.

Can the seniors repeat this win next Sunday in Castlebar and get the three Roscommon men's teams into Connacht finals?
Big 8 days for Roscommon football.
